Curtains

A centre-parted fringe that falls to both sides — the 90s look, back again.

The front is grown to cheekbone length and parted in the middle so it falls to both sides like curtains. The fringe shortens a long face and softens a strong jaw, but the width at the sides is less flattering on a round face. Best on straight or wavy hair.

General guidance from stylists, not a measurement of your face — hair density, hairline and personal taste all matter too.

  2. Centre or slightly off-centre part, falling to both sides
  3. Layers through the top to remove weight
  4. Sides scissor-cut and tapered, covering the tops of the ears
